We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data. We process your data in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and – where applicable, in particular for visitors from the European Union – the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

2. What Data We Process
- Identity data: name, surname and similar information you provide to us, e.g. within a business relationship or through our forms.
- Contact data: phone number, address, e-mail address, IP address.
- Payment and invoicing data: bank, payment and invoicing details processed for paid services (e.g. fair reservations and online payments).
- Visual and audio recordings: photo and video footage produced at trade fairs and company presentations for publication on our platforms.
- Communication and complaint data: data generated while handling your requests and complaints.
- Technical data and cookies: data collected automatically for information security purposes and via cookies and similar technologies. For details, please see the Cookie Policy on this website. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent.
- Employee and applicant data: where you are in an employment or application relationship with us.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases of Processing
- Performance of contracts and pre-contractual measures, in particular providing our platform services (production and publication of company videos, company directory listings, fair reservation and online payment) – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR,
- Compliance with legal obligations (e.g. tax and commercial retention duties) – Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR,
- Handling requests and complaints, quality assurance, statistics, improvement of our platforms, IT security, and establishing, exercising or defending legal claims – legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR,
- Advertising, marketing, newsletters and personalised content, as well as non-essential cookies – consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; you may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
4. Data Sharing and Transfers to Third Countries
We share personal data only to the extent necessary for the purposes stated above, in particular with service providers (e.g. hosting, payment processing), business partners, and public authorities where we are legally obliged to do so. We conclude the required data processing agreements with our service providers.
Please note: the data controller is established in Türkiye, and our website is hosted on servers of a hosting provider located in the USA. Your data is therefore processed in Türkiye and in the USA. There is no adequacy decision of the European Commission for Türkiye; for the USA, the adequacy decision applies only to companies certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Transfers are based on Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR (necessity for the performance of a contract), your explicit consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR) or, where applicable, appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Art. 46 GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses); where the hosting provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, we rely on that certification for transfers to the USA.
5. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above or as required by statutory retention obligations (under Turkish law and, where applicable, EU law). Thereafter, the data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR – and in parallel under Article 11 KVKK – you have, in particular, the following rights:
- access to the data processed about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR),
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR),
- lodging a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence (Art. 77 GDPR); in Türkiye, with the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Board).
